Account & checkout details: name (may be nickname for downloads/newsletters; legal name required for purchases), email address, billing/shipping address, optional phone number.
Free downloads & newsletter sign-ups: name or nickname, email address.
Orders & services: license details, order history, correspondence about custom services.
Payments: processed securely by PayPal or Stripe – we do not store card details.
Merch orders: address and contact details needed for fulfilment by Printful.
Analytics & cookies: IP address, device/browser type, usage data, consent preferences.
Media embeds: YouTube videos or similar services may set their own cookies (only with consent).

5. Sharing your data
We do not sell your data. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run SNW Pro Rec, such as:
Merch fulfilment: Printful
Email marketing: Mailchimp
Analytics & ads: Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, YouTube
Each provider has their own privacy policy, linked from our site. They only receive the data needed to perform their role.
6. International transfers
Some providers process data outside the UK/EEA (e.g. US-based services). Where they do, we rely on:

standard contractual clauses / UK IDTA safeguards.

Orders & invoices: kept for at least 6 years (legal requirement).
Licences: kept for the licence term + 6 years (for legal claims).
Exclusive/perpetual licences: kept indefinitely + 6 years after termination.
Newsletter & marketing lists: until you unsubscribe.
Support enquiries: up to 24 months.
Analytics data: stored for up to 14 months (Google Analytics default) or longer if configured, but never beyond provider limits.
Server logs: up to 12 months.
